Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Maintenance Foreman to lead landscape maintenance crews and help ensure high-quality service for our residential and commercial properties. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, hands-on landscape maintenance experience, and the ability to manage crews, communicate with customers, and maintain company standards in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise landscape maintenance crews on residential and commercial properties.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed according to company quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Oversee mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, pruning, irrigation checks, planting, fertilization, and seasonal cleanup tasks.
  • Train and support crew members on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and quality workmanship.
  • Monitor irrigation systems and identify repairs, leaks, coverage issues, and other maintenance needs.
  • Communicate daily job priorities, schedules, and property concerns with crew members and management.
  • Inspect jobsites to verify work quality, cleanliness, safety, and completion.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities, repairs, upsell opportunities, and potential issues on properties.
  • Complete jobsite photos, reports, timesheets, and notes using company software and mobile apps.
  • Maintain company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment in clean and organized condition.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns in the field.
  • Ensure crews follow company safety standards, professionalism, and attendance expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance or landscape foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, irrigation systems, plant material, and equipment operation.
  • Experience leading or supervising landscape crews.
  • Ability to identify landscape and irrigation issues and recommend solutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps, photos, texting, and basic technology for reporting and communication.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to lift, walk, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Highly dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
