Join the team at David J. Frank, one of the country's leading green industry companies with a reputation built since 1959. We are currently seeking full-time Landscape Specialty and Renovation Crew Leaders for our Landscape Maintenance Department (LMD) through our Germantown branch location. These roles offer the opportunity for personal and professional growth, collaboration with industry experts, and the chance to work on hands-on, outdoor projects. We value sustainability, creativity, and the use of new technology in our work. This is full-time year-round employment. During the winter we do snow removal, training, and complete maintenance projects.

Qualifications
  • Crew Leaders haveย minimum of one year experience in the production field supervising crewsย and training techniciansย ensuring client satisfaction with quality outcomes (pro-rated with advanced education).
  • Possess and maintain Wisconsinย Pesticide Applicatorโ€™s License (Category 3.0) is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and improve processes
  • Commitment to safety
  • Strongย plantย identificationย skillsย (annuals,ย perennials,ย trees,ย shrubs) preferred
  • Two or four-year degree from an accredited college/university in Horticulture or related fieldย is preferred.
  • Bilingual - proficient/fluent in Spanish is a plus.
  • Required to possess and maintain valid, non-probationaryย driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Required to successfully complete a preplacement physical (to include lifting 50 pounds) and drug screen.
Responsibilities
  • Crew Leaders train, develop, manage, review, motivate, and direct a crew of technicians and laborers.
  • Specialty Crew Leaders deliver spring clean-up services, including perennial care and removal of winter protection.
  • Renovation Crew Leaders install new landscapes and landscape renovations such asย drainage systems, nightscape systems, seed and sod, retaining walls, and pavers.
  • Shape and prune shrubs, bushes, and trees.
  • Perform seeding, sodding, and hydro-mulching tasks.
  • Conduct spring and fall cleanups.
  • Remove snow and ice during winter.
