Job description

Reports to: Enhancement Operations Manager/Account Managers

Based at: Loveland Office

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

 

· Work directly with customers, Account Managers, and Enhancement Field Supervisor, on landscape installation processes and procedures to achieve maximum profitability.

· Responsible for the direction of crew activities on job site, according to pre-established schedules, standards and procedures to provide a high quality of service, as directed by Enhancement Supervisor/Account Managers. This position supervises a crew of typically two to six crew members.

Duties and Tasks:

· Schedule of enhancement crews to install small to mid-size landscape construction projects.

· Coordinate with Enhancement Field Supervisor/Account Managers for equipment and material needs daily to complete construction projects efficiently.

· Ensure the quality of work is kept up to Landtech Contractors’ quality standards.

· Perform daily project checks to ensure quality and safety standards.

· Onsite training to improve efficiency and quality of work.

· Maintain updated and accurate enhancement job info in Aspire to assist with job tracking.

· Maintain safety as it relates to the Enhancement Department of the Maintenance Division.

· Communicate with Enhancement Supervisor/Account Managers as the first point of contact.

· Develop and communicate daily procedures and general day-to-day operations with the Enhancement Field Supervisor/Account Managers

· Ensure accurate time for all crew members for payroll weekly

· Be on call and available for snow removal during winter season.

· Attend all company meetings as required.

·Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

· 3+ years of related experience in landscape construction preferred.

· Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Proven track record in landscape construction management.

· Passionate about safety and eliminating risks.

Job Duties/Tasks:

  • Read and interpret plan sets. Understand and Implement job specifications for each site
  • Assign daily tasks to crew members and ensure compliance
  • Perform landscape install tasks including, but not limited to sod, plant, boulder, stump, soil and bark installation, replacement, and/or removal; debris removal; drainage installation; trench digging.
  • Safe operation of landscape equipment, including but not limited to: ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chipper, stump grinder, riding lawn mower, bobcats, tractors.
  • Maintain and report equipment in need of repair
  • Supervise safe loading and unloading of equipment
  • Assist with initial and on-going training of crews
  • Discuss job site observations with Enhancement Field Supervisor/Account Managers on a regular basis
  • Ensure adherence to company policies
  • Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with Enhancement Field Supervisor/Account Managers and team members.
  • Show up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wear clean clothes to work each day; follow inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
  • Perform minor irrigation repairs and maintenance
  • Perform minor in-field maintenance and repairs of equipment
  • Evaluate crews’ performance on a consistent basis and report to Enhancement Field Supervisor/Account Managers
  • Facilitate conflict resolution between crew members
  • Other duties as assigned
