What Youll Do

As a Landscape Crew Leader, youll lead the charge on high-impact landscape installations, working closely with your team to bring residential and commercial projects to life. Youll handle everything from grading and excavation to patios, walls, and plantings - all while keeping safety, efficiency, and quality at the forefront.

Youll read blueprints, plan ahead for materials and phases, and ensure your crew has the tools, equipment, and support they need to execute each job successfully. Youll work closely with project consultants, guide on-site client conversations, and make field adjustments as needed to keep things moving smoothly. Youll also play a key role in training new team members, enforcing safety, and setting the tone for a productive, respectful job site. When challenges come up, youll be the one who finds a solution and keeps the project on track.

This role blends craftsmanship, coordination, and leadership - and no two days look the same.

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of landscape installation experience, including pavers, retaining walls, grading, and plantings
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to teach others while staying hands-on
  • A Class C license or willingness to obtain one (CDL a plus)
  • Confidence reading blueprints and planning job site layout
  • A sharp eye for detail and pride in clean, professional work
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment like skid steers, dingo, excavators, paver vacuums, and saws
  • Excellent communication skills for working with teammates, consultants, and clients
  • Strong organizational habits to manage tools, paperwork, materials, and schedules
  • A dependable and proactive approach to field problem-solving
  • Comfort working outdoors in all weather and lifting up to 80 lbs regularly

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hours: Typical hours are 7:00 am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with some weekends, subject to weather and seasonal changes.
