Requirements
A Day in the Life of a Landscape Irrigation Technician
Imagine spending your day outdoors, working with your hands, and ensuring landscapes thrive.
As a Landscape Irrigation Technician, you'll:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, heads, laterals, mainlines, and controllers.
Program both standard and smart controllers with precision and expertise.
Assess irrigation systems, suggest modifications, and optimize water efficiency.
Respond to after-hours emergencies with professionalism and reliability.
Your familiarity with drip systems, advanced troubleshooting skills, and dedication to client satisfaction will ensure your success in this role.
What You Bring to the Team
Experience - At least two years as an Irrigation Technician.
Skills - Strong irrigation controller programming (scheduling, sequencing, seasonal adjustments).
Troubleshooting - Expertise with valves, wiring, controllers, nozzle replacement, and coverage issues.
Fitness - Physically fit, capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 20-50 lbs.
Communication - Fluent in reading and writing English, with excellent team communication.
Driver's License - Valid CA Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Preparedness - Willing to work outdoors in varying weather and pass a drug and alcohol screening.
