At Estate Landscape & Tree Service, we specialize in creating stunning outdoor living spaces for high-end custom homes in the spectacular natural environment of Lake Tahoe for over 25 years. Our team is committed to excellence, combining artistry, sustainability, and functionality to enhance luxury residential properties.
What You'll Do as a Residential Landscape Designer:
  • Design and develop high-end landscape plans for custom residential properties.
  • Collaborate with homeowners, architects, and builders to bring their visions to life.
  • Utilize advanced design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) to create detailed plans and 3D visualizations.
  • Integrate native and sustainable landscape solutions that complement the Lake Tahoe environment.
  • Select and specify plants, hardscapes, lighting, water features, and outdoor living elements.
  • Conduct site evaluations to assess terrain, climate, and project feasibility.
  • Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless execution of designs.
  • Stay up to date with current trends in luxury landscaping, materials, and sustainable design.

What You Need to Succeed:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential landscape design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or other landscape design software.
Strong knowledge of high-end residential landscape elements, including stonework, outdoor structures, irrigation, and native plant species.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints.
Experience collaborating with clients, architects, and construction teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts.
Passion for creating luxurious and environmentally conscious landscapes.
Familiarity with Lake Tahoe's unique climate, terrain, and TRPA regulations (preferred).
Compensation & Schedule:
Competitive Salary: Based on experience and portfolio.
Full-Time Position: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
