Harmony Design Group, a premier Landscape Architecture and construction firm, is seeking a Landscape Designer to join our leadership team!

About Harmony Design Group: Founded in 2005, Harmony Design Group has a passion for building and designing beautiful landscapes. We work on residential projects in New Jersey. Our projects are fast-paced, high-end projects.

Compensation and Benefits for our Landscape Designer: We are offering a competitive compensation and benefits package including an annual salary of $75,000 - $90,000 dependent on experience. We offer company sponsored medical benefits, a 401k with profit sharing, 2 weeks of paid vacation, 1 week of paid sick leave, and 6 paid company holidays.

Requirements for the Landscape Designer:

  • A Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, landscape design, horticulture or a related field is preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in landscape architecture.
  • Experience using software such as AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Revit, Photoshop, etc. with the ability to read and create technical drawings including 3D renderings.
  • Understanding of zoning requirements and permit procedures by town/state.
  • Knowledge of products and materials, grading and drainage.

Responsibilities of the Landscape Designer:

  • Preparing landscape plans from conceptual design to final design, incorporating all components of a full landscape design plan.
  • Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Acting as a strategic leader on our design/build team.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior landscape designer professionals.
  • Organizing and tracking all town and state permit requirements ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
