Job description

Company Description

Worx Landscaping & Snow Removal is a growing, full-service landscaping company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We specialize in designing and building high-quality outdoor spaces that are both functional and visually impactful.

Our work ranges from residential outdoor living spaces to large-scale commercial projects, including pavers, retaining walls, smart irrigation systems, and complete landscape installations. We take pride in doing things the right way—with the right people, the right equipment, and the right attitude.

As a team, we focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. We're currently expanding our capabilities by bringing design in-house, creating an opportunity for the right person to play a key role in shaping how we design, build, and deliver projects moving forward.

If you're someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys seeing projects come to life, and wants to be part of a company that's growing and evolving—this is a great place to be.

Role Description

We're looking for a Landscape Designer who can take projects from concept to completion while maintaining high standards of quality and execution.

This role focuses on creating landscape designs and working closely with clients, while also overseeing installation to ensure projects are built according to plan. You'll be involved in residential and commercial projects, including outdoor living spaces, pavers, retaining walls, irrigation systems, and full landscape installations.

You'll collaborate directly with leadership, participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings, and help bring our design services in-house. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative side of design and the hands-on involvement of seeing projects come to life in the field.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in landscape design and construction (residential and/or commercial)
  • Proven ability to take projects from design → build → completion
  • Strong knowledge of hardscaping, irrigation systems, grading, and planting design
  • Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Land F/X, or similar)
  • Ability to read, interpret, and produce construction drawings and site plans
  • Experience working directly with clients, builders, or commercial stakeholders
  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Experience with estimating, takeoffs, or bidding processes
  • Comfortable using modern tools, AI, and software platforms to improve efficiency
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
