About the Role


The Landscape Account Manager provides year-round management of a high-value client portfolio, including landscape maintenance, enhancement projects, and customer relations. This role is the primary point of contact for assigned customers, overseeing account performance, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships as the primary contact for assigned accounts
  • Develop proposals, recommendations, and solutions tailored to customer needs and property goals
  • Conduct regular property visits to ensure quality standards, satisfaction, and proactive communication

Account & Project Management

  • Manage high-value landscape maintenance accounts from contract through completion
  • Oversee account performance, contract execution, budgeting, and profitability
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, planning, and operational initiatives for the department

Business Development

  • Drive account growth through renewals, enhancements, upselling, and new business
  • Generate and cultivate relationships with prospective clients
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and improve long-term partnerships

Field Responsibilities

  • Regularly visit customer properties and job sites
  • Monitor landscape quality, enhancement progress, and maintenance performance
  • Represent the company professionally during customer and site interactions
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary plus commission on sales, paid weekly/at invoice

Requirements
  • 5–8+ years of account management, sales, landscape management, or related experience required

  • Experience growing accounts through upselling, renewals, and service expansion
  • Comfortable in both office and field environments
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Proficiency with FSM (Field Service Management) platforms, mobile apps, and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
