Job description

Maintenance Supervisor

American Landmark Apartments has been awarded one of the best places to work five years in a row on a national level. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for Sol Riverside, our 350 unit residential community located in Grand Prairie, TX!

Your role as Maintenance Supervisor is critical to AL's success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Property and Regional Manager.

Maintenance Supervisors are eligible for bonuses of up to $1,000 based on make ready status and work order completion!

Your "Day to Day" at American Landmark as a Maintenance Supervisor:

  • Responsible for scheduling work orders
  • Responding to work orders within 24 hours and ensuring follow-up calls are made
  • Preventative maintenance and direct supervision of all in-house and/or vendor work
  • Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory
  • Coordination of apartment turn efforts
  • Assist team with renewal and leasing efforts to achieve financial goals
  • Responsible for the interviewing, screening, and hiring of maintenance staff
  • Responsible for the supervision and training of all maintenance personnel

Qualifying Accomplishments of a Maintenance Supervisor:

  • 3 years+ Apartment Maintenance experience
  • 1-2 years maintenance supervisory experience
  • EPA Universal certification required
  • HVAC certification required
  • Refrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge is preferred
  • Irrigation knowledge
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
