Job description

PLM is seeking an experienced In-House Landman to support operations within the Eagle Ford play. This role requires strong leasing and land administration experience and must be performed in-office in Houston, TX.

This is an in-office position focused on Eagle Ford development.
Responsibilities
  • Manage leasing and land administration activities within the Eagle Ford play.
  • Negotiate and secure oil and gas leases, amendments, extensions, and related agreements.
  • Support regulatory compliance and filings related to South Texas operations.
  • Review and interpret mineral ownership, lease terms, and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding drilling schedules, title status, and development planning.
  • Maintain organized, accurate land records and internal tracking systems.
  • Provide timely updates and reporting to internal leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Landman experience.
  • Significant, hands-on experience in the Eagle Ford play.
  • Strong understanding of South Texas mineral and regulatory environments.
  • Prior experience working in-house or directly for an operator preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time in-office in Houston, TX.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
