Job description

Description:

We are an industry-leading family-owned hospitality/culinary concierge service in South Shore Massachusetts, delivering superior products to food service establishments. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, organized, dependable, and professional delivery drivers/warehouse selectors to become part of our incredible in-house Delivery Team. We have a collaborative and rewarding company culture with a self-contained warehouse facility, where we maintain and drive our own custom fleet of delivery van vehicles.


The main duties of this position include:

  • Picking orders and loading vans prior to driving to locations
  • Delivering products in a timely, orderly, and professional manner on a specified route
  • Collecting required signatures/paperwork, and submitting to our office staff
  • Performing all end-of-shift duties, including basic cleaning and maintenance of delivery vans

*Please take note that a pre-employment physical/lift test is a requirement of this position to ensure the safety of our employees*

Requirements:

Skills, qualifications & requirements:

  • A valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
  • 2+ years of professional driving experience
  • Physical ability to lift, load and unload cargo at the warehouse and to load and unload delivery vans at delivery sites (50+lbs)
  • Knowledge of quality control and how to handle food materials safely
  • Familiarity with using GPS navigation systems
  • Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
  • Ability to adapt to and drive safely in different weather conditions when making deliveries
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company professionally at all times
  • Great communication and customer service skills
