Job description

Senior Project Engineer/Project Engineer Position. We want you to be an integral part of our team as our firm continues to grow its Fort Collins office. Lamp Rynearson, a civil engineering consulting firm, is seeking a collaborative and creative individual to join our design team! As a 100% employee-owned company with locations in Colorado, Nebraska and Missouri, we maintain a solid reputation with our clients, on our projects, and within our industry. This opportunity is for a dynamic individual with an understanding and desire to provide design services for community changing projects within a multi-discipline office. The Fort Collins office works on a wide variety of projects and industries including residential and commercial land development, oil and gas, solar, and municipal work. The Engineer would assist in all aspects of these industries. The position requires individuals to perform design tasks, be able to make project design decisions, prepare correspondence, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be commensurate with level of experience and qualification.

Qualifications include…
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training accreditation in Colorado.
• 2 – 6 years minimum of related skills and experience.
• Experience in the civil engineering field.
• Experience in Civil 3D or AutoCAD.
• Ability to develop, design and draft construction plans.
• Have a strong understanding of grading, utility design, and site plan design.
• Capable of completing drainage calculations using a variety of software for hydraulic and hydrology analysis.
• Ability to work with different personalities and professional styles.
• Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
