Job description

Sheridan MN is seeking a Laminator Operator for first shift, Monday - Friday.

What You'll Do:

  • Setup and run the Laminator and/or UV Coater.
  • Monitor quality of product per the job ticket and established procedures.
  • Complete all paperwork and maintain the equipment with preventative maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, do basic math and work with basic tools (screw drivers, wrenches, etc.)
  • Possess basic computer skills (i.e. Windows type applications.)
  • Possess mechanical inclination and have the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Two years + in trade on similar equipment.
  • Graphic arts and/or technical school background.

Physical Requirements:

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

  • Hearing protection and safety toe shoes are required.
  • Prolonged periods of standing up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
