Project Manager (Hybrid)
Missouri LAGERS is seeking a goal orientated Project Manager to help turn strategic priorities into successful outcomes. In this role, you'll coordinate critical organizational initiatives that support operational excellence, organizational growth, and exceptional service to our members and participating employers. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to facilitate collaboration, manage priorities, and help deliver meaningful results.

Salary: The starting salary range for Project Manager is $88,600. Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience, qualifications, and the value the candidate brings to the organization.

Project Manager Job Functions:
  • Apply project management principles, tools, and best practices to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects that support organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and other project documentation to ensure effective project execution and communication.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, as well as external vendors, to define project objectives, gather requirements, and support successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate and support mission-critical annual business processes and organizational initiatives by managing timelines, dependencies, stakeholder communication, and key deliverables.
  • Serve as a Scrum Master for assigned teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, promoting best practices, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders while fostering accountability, collaboration, and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Our ideal Project Manager should have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration or related field is preferred.
  • Four years of information technology experience required with two years of experience in a project management role is preferred.
  • Understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile), and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Microsoft SharePoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance is required.
