Job description

We need experienced, capable, installation technicians to join our team. MUST reliable transportation. We are a fast-growing company installing an exciting new, low-voltage LED lighting product for homes and businesses.

Solar installers, roofers, framers or similar trades that are comfortable using extension ladders, hand tools, low-voltage electrical, and can transport those tools and ladders, are GREAT for this job and can make $6K to $8K per month.

Our company prides itself on quality work and providing our clients with the best experience from start to finish. Our customers love us and the product we provide. We need great people to be a part of what we are building!

Job Responsibilities

  • Installing LED lighting systems for both residential and commerical clients, including the track system itself and wiring the control module.
  • Explain the use of the system to the client once installation in completed, give a demo (app tutorial) and answer questions.
  • You must have your own tools (drills, ladders, metal snips, basic hand tools).
  • You must have reliable transportation to take ladders to/from job sites (a truck or van with ladder racks)
  • You must be comfortable and familiar with working at heights from a ladder or on rooftops.

Job Skills + Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Some electrical experience; low voltage is fine.
  • Vehicle to transport material, long ladder and tools.
  • Comfortable working at heights on ladders (as high as 36').
  • Several years of experience in construction-related and/or electrical work preferred.
  • An aptitude for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Good stamina; physically able to complete the job in a timely manner.
  • Valid driver's license.

This job is ideal for someone who is:

  • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
  • People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.
  • Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
  • Automonous/independent -- enjoys working with little direction.

Your role will be to install our LED lighting system on jobs that we schedule for you. This involves transporting ladders and materials to the job site using your own vehicle, so you will need a truck or vehicle capable of hauling long ladders. You will use ladders, hand tools, and low-voltage wiring equipment to install this lighting system on the soffits of homes and businesses. You will then hook the system to the local WiFi and then explain the use of the system to the customer. You're typically on the same job site for one or two days before going to the next job.

The area you'll be covering is San Antonio and surrounding communities in the SA area.
