Job Title: Ladders For Leaders Summer Intern

Commonpoint is home to a number of youth workforce programs, including the nationally recognized program Ladders for Leaders. Ladders for Leaders offers high school and college students the opportunity to participate in paid professional summer internships with leading corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies in New York City.

Program Highlights:

  • Comprehensive Orientation: Includes resume-building workshops, job interview preparation, networking strategies, leadership development, and mock interviews to prepare you for professional success.

  • Career Development: Opportunities to revise your resume, participate in mock interviews, and attend skill-building workshops.

  • Access to Exclusive Internships: Submit your interest and be considered for a wide range of internships across various industries.

Program Timeline:

  • Cohort A: July 1 - August 8

  • Cohort B: July 7 - August 15

Compensation and Payroll:
Interns will work up to 25 hours per week at a rate of $16.50 per hour. All placements are subsidized by Ladders for Leaders, which also manages payroll throughout the 6-week internship period.
