$40/hr ($80,000/year) | $1000 Bonus | Mon–Fri Only | No Weekends | Full Benefits

Honey Homes is hiring experienced handymen on the Palo Alto area. Earn $40/hr with a $1000 sign-on bonus, work Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, and never take an on-call shift again.

You'll serve a dedicated territory of 40–50 homes in the Palo Alto area and no client hunting, no unpredictable schedules, no weekends. Just steady, well-paid handyman work and the chance to become the trusted maintenance technician for every home on your route.
We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates who complete and graduate training and is here for more than 30 days.

Pay & Bonus

  • $40/hr ($80,000/year) plus equity in the business

  • $1,000 sign-on bonus for South Peninsula hires (Palo Alto) who complete training and remain onboard for at least 30 days

  • Mileage reimbursement for all local driving between appointments

Schedule & Time Off

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

  • No nights, weekends, required overtime, or on-call

  • 12 paid holidays plus 13 PTO/sick days

What You'll Do

  • Manage a dedicated route of 40–50 residential homes across the Peninsula as the trusted handyman for each homeowner

  • Perform residential repairs and maintenance across multiple trades:

    • Carpentry — doors, trim, framing, repairs

    • Painting and drywall patching

    • Plumbing — toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs

    • Electrical — fixtures, outlets, small wiring tasks

    • Smart home device installation

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term homeowner relationships

  • Use our mobile app to track jobs, tasks, and schedules

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of handyman, maintenance technician, or multi-trade experience

  • Hands-on skill across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall

  • Prior work as a maintenance technician, carpenter, plumber, or electrician strongly preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting ability — can independently assess and fix most issues in a home

  • Attention to detail (clean caulk lines, professional patching and painting)

  • Customer-friendly attitude — great listener, strong communicator, proactive

  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and your own tools

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (with or without reasonable accommodation)

  • Comfortable working on ladders or scaffolding at heights up to 12 feet
