Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Bradley County Jail
Location: Cleveland, TN Employer: TK Health
NOW OFFERING A $3,500 SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified hires who join our mental-health team.
Position Overview
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with TK Health, you will assess, stabilize, and coordinate care for adults in a secure correctional setting while developing individualized release plans that ensure continuity of treatment back in the community.
Required Credentials
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Active Tennessee license: LPC, LMSW, LADC, or LMFT

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis assessments and psychiatric-emergency intervention
  • Conduct suicide-risk and substance-use evaluations; deliver MAT counseling
  • Create and implement Individualized Treatment Plans and refer for medication management
  • Coordinate with security, medical, and community agencies to meet inmates' special-needs and discharge goals
  • Maintain clinical documentation and compliance in accordance with state standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours mental-health coverage
  • Deliver mental-health training for jail staff and perform additional duties as assigned
