Job description

Varsity Coach Boy's Lacrosse (March 2027)ย 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in the sport.
  • Possess sound moral character.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship of the program to the athlete, the total athletic program, and the total school program.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement organized daily practice plans
  • Suggests adaptations and modifications to coaching techniques, strategies and game plans.
  • Promotes and maintains positive public relations with parents and the community.
  • Helps to provide an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship and player conduct.
  • Supports in preparation for each game in strategy and player motivation.
  • Complies with all DIAA and school district policies
  • Communicates of pre, post, and in-season information to players, parents, and school officials.
  • Maintains an inventory of all equipment and uniforms.
  • Monitors and evaluates the academic performance of all athletes.
  • Assists in recommending the purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
  • Oversees the safety of the facility or area in which the assigned sport is conducted.
  • Performs other duties as assigned that relate to this position.
