Job Schedule: Shift 1, 9/80 (Every other Friday off)

Job Description:

The Assembly Integration and Test factory at L3Harris is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to support engineering activities for moderately complex tests of advanced opticalsensing spaceflight hardware. The role applies standard technical principles to execute test plans and procedures and is considered a fully proficient, individualcontributor Engineering Technician Level C. Working with limited supervision, the technician may serve as a resource in areas of expertise and will handle moderately difficult tasks requiring judgment. Testing may involve electrical, radiometric, or optical performance in ambient, vibration, thermal, vacuum, or EMI environments. The position supports delivery of thoroughly tested aerospace products and systems in compliance with specifications and production requirements.

Essential Functions:

Support preparation of the test environment
Serve as a supporting member of the Test Readiness Review process
Generate and provide initial review of test results
Follow established procedures and detailed instructions with minimal guidance from more senior functional staff

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or 2 years postsecondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

Knowledge of standard electrical test equipment (DVMs, scopes, etc.)
Ability to execute procedures, document results, and communicate effectively orally and in writing with moderate oversight
Ability to generate detailed technical reports and perform data reduction for requirement verification with moderate oversight
Knowledge of highreliability aerospace product testing and verification
Willingness to work overtime, shift work (nights), extended shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time and work occasional nights and weekends
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience working in a cleanroom with ESD and contaminationsensitive flight hardware
Experience in an electrical, mechanical, or optical discipline in the aerospace or defense industry
Familiarity with Microsoft Visio
Current SSBI with Polygraph
Basic software knowledge (LabVIEW, C++, Python, and scripting languages)
