Could you be the full-time onsite Testing Engineer in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?

*Candidates may include new graduates (Electrical Engineering) with internships or up to ~5 years of hands‑on experience.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimizing industrial test solutions for traction products, ensuring high-quality manufacturing outcomes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including industrial/manufacturing engineering, quality, and operations, to align test solutions with production goals, support new product introduction activities, and troubleshoot test-related issues in production environments, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing industrial test solutions for traction products, including end-of-line (EOL) and in-process testing,
  • Defining test strategies, coverage, and acceptance criteria aligned with product requirements and manufacturing needs,
  • Specifying, selecting, and integrating test equipment, instrumentation, and automation systems,
  • Developing and validating test procedures, fixtures, and hardware setups for production environments,
  • Troubleshooting and resolving test failures to ensure minimal impact on production throughput,
  • Leading the deployment and commissioning of test systems in manufacturing facilities,
  • Optimizing test cycle times, reliability, and repeatability of test systems,
  • Analyzing test data to identify trends, yield issues, and opportunities for improvement,
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on test efficiency, coverage, and robustness,
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including industrial/manufacturing engineering, quality, and operations, to align test solutions with production goals.

  • Hands-on experience with test hardware integration (sensors, DAQ, power electronics, etc.),

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities in a production setting,
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in test data analysis and reporting,
  • Ability to design practical, scalable, and robust test solutions.
