Job description

SGF Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer (RF Product Integration, Test, and Regulatory) with 2+ years of experience to design automated test systems, develop automated test code, and validate infrastructure/networking RF products against system and regulatory requirements. This 100% onsite role in Schaumburg, IL operates Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, for a long‑term (6–12 months) engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Design automated RF test systems for infrastructure and networking products
  • Develop automated test code (LabVIEW and/or Python) to execute RF validation
  • Perform RF product testing to ensure compliance with system and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize RF Automated Test Equipment (vector/network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, etc.)
  • Interpret and apply regulatory standards (e.g., TIA-102, TIA-603, EN300-113, EN300-086, UL, CE) to test plans and results
  • Document test procedures, results, and compliance evidence
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and drive product readiness
  • Independently learn and adopt new RF technologies, tools, and test methodologies
  • Plan, organize, and lead test activities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Communicate findings and status effectively to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years of RF product test and regulatory experience (or equivalent)
  • Basic knowledge of RF systems, including analog and digital modulations
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW and Python for automated testing
  • Experience using RF ATE: vector/network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, etc.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as TIA-102, TIA-603, EN300-113, EN300-086, UL, and CE
  • Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Work schedule: 9am–5pm, Full Time; Work location: 100% Onsite, Schaumburg, IL; Long-term: 6–12 months
