About the Position 
 
Responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to labor managers and field leadership teams. This position ensures all field services department work activities are coordinated and organized, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations.
 
Day in the Life 
 
  • Processes the necessary paperwork and documentation for field labor hiring and layoffs, ensuring all required information is provided to HR, payroll and union representatives. Partners with HR and Payroll to accurately maintain active employee data
  • Provides daily high-quality administrative support to labor managers, field leadership, and field employees. Coordinates various projects and maintains accurate systems data including, but not limited to, timekeeping, logs, training, certifications, and safety
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings and training activities for field personnel, partnering with necessary departments to process technology requests and provides necessary training on tools such as iPads, laptops, and company software  
  • Assists with management of portability for field employees working in other local jurisdictions. 
  • Creates and maintains positive communications and relationships with customers, vendors and field staff that reflect and support the Company’s core values.
  • Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
  • Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.
  • Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public
 
Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in construction management, IT support, administration, business or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction field dispatching. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with union collective bargaining agreements and building construction is a plus. 
  • Strong process orientation. 
  • Strong organizational, project management, training, and customer service skills. 
  • High degree of professionalism, initiative and prioritization skills. Experience with direct customer contact and effective communication with employees and co-workers at all levels. Demonstrated prominent level of integrity and dependability. 
  • Dedicated team player, with excellent listening, coaching, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong telephone communication skills, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication, problem solving and IT skills. 
  • Superior detail orientation, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Demonstrated strong analytical and mathematical skills 
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving, mentoring and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
