Job description

Allstate Peterbilt Group is dedicated to serving the Medium and Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Industry throughout the Midwest. From the beginning of the vehicle purchase process, through the warranty repairs and on-going vehicle maintenance, our team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals work diligently to keep our customers trucks on the road running smoothly.
Shop Helper Job Responsibilities:
  • Move trucks in and out of stalls for technicians.
  • Test drive trucks that need extended miles put on to insure repair is complete.
  • Provide steam cleaning/pressure washing assistance as needed.
  • Clean shop floors, tool areas, shop tools and equipment, and other areas as needed.
  • Deliver parts to the technicians from the parts department.
  • Retrieve parts from outside vendors when necessary.
  • Assist in shop tool repair.
  • Assist technicians with repairs when no tools or technical expertise is required; such as holding a component in place or depressing a clutch pedal.
  • Manage retained warranty parts as directed.
