Laborers/workers for utility work needed. Whether you are new to the construction business or have experience and looking for a career change, we encourage you to apply! We are a growing company with great benefits. We are in need of people who are hardworking and looking for a good and stable career. We lay fiber optic cable all over the state of Minnesota. We have good health, vision, dental, 401k and life insurance. We also offer Paid Time Off and Optional Fridays! Starting pay is $20- $30 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime pay. Class A CDL drivers with or without experience are also encouraged to apply. The company pays for hotel rooms plus $40 per day in per diem when you are on the road. Home on the weekends! We have very knowledgeable crew leaders and supervisors on our crews. Quick advancement and training for those with a great work ethic and are willing to learn. Laborers will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the Site Foreman and Supervisor. Position requires Laborer to work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks lifting up to 50 LBS


Responsibilities:

• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools

• Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment

• Removing debris/garbage and conduct restoration at work sites

• Assembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structures

• Upon qualifying for a DOT Medical Card, assist and operate combinations of commercial vehicles and trailers over 10,000 LBS

• Additionally, if operating commercial vehicle and trailer combinations over 26,000 LBS, drivers are required to have and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement, per FMCSA/DOT guidelines

• Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs per MUTCD guidelines

• Following all health and OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards and regulations

• Digging potholes, trenching, and other underground excavation work
