Job Summary:

The Maintenance & Facilities helper will ensure the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our facility and equipment. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across production machinery, building systems, and facility utilities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Essential Functions (included but not limited to):

Maintenance & Equipment Support

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues.
  • Assist with equipment installations, repairs, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
  • Operate and maintain power industrial trucks (PIT) and other facility-related equipment.

Facility Operations & Safety

  • Maintain interior and exterior facility conditions including lighting, HVAC systems, and general upkeep.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety protocols.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including inclement weather preparedness and facility safety measures.
  • Participate in annual safety, equipment, and compliance training programs.

Operational Support

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Assist with inventory management of maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Support recycling initiatives, including material separation and waste management.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support operational efficiency.
