Job description

Entry Level Warehouse - General Labor:

Cylinder Maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspect and remove/replace valves on compressed gas cylinders
  • Perform associated repairs to put cylinders back into circulation
  • Inspect and maintain associated equipment
  • Responsible for sandblasting, grinding, and painting cylinders
  • Must be familiar with basic hand/power tools
  • Must follow operation procedures for all equipment, including sandblaster and hand/power tools
  • Must be able to perform basic math functions, such as: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Skills Required

  • Must be able to follow basic plant safety rules
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as: safety rules, safety data sheets, operation instructions, maintenance instructions, and training materials
  • Must lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and greater than 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, crouch, bend, twist, squat, and kneel in non-climate controlled facility
  • Must be highly motivated, with great attention to detail
  • Verify and complete documentation as required
