Job description

RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We are seeking a hardworking Wire Cutter (Warehouse Associate) to join our East Peoria, IL with $19/hr pay for a 3 months contract with potential temp to hire opportunity based on performance and business needs. Join a busy distribution team where you'll cut and spool wire, prepare customer orders, manage inventory, and keep materials moving safely and efficiently. APPLY NOW!

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Dress Code: Warehouse attire; shorts permitted

PPE: Safety-toe shoes required; high-visibility vest provided

What You'll Do

  • Cut and spool various sizes of wire using wire-cutting equipment.
  • Read and process customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders accurately.
  • Track wire inventory by recording footage on reels and updating wire tags.
  • Pick, scan, sort, and stock materials on racks, shelves, and designated warehouse locations.
  • Prepare customer orders for pallets, packing, and shipment.
  • Perform cycle counts and verify inventory quantities as needed.
  • Move materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas using appropriate warehouse equipment.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma/GED, 6 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • Warehouse, utility, electrical, or distribution experience is preferred but not required.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Basic ability to read orders, labels, and inventory information.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track materials.
  • Reliable team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and pull up to 50 lbs.
