Job Description
DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a great attitude and strong work ethic. This position will support day-to-day field operations and assist with ground clearing and tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties.
This is a temporary seasonal position expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Loads and unloads equipment.
  • large debris pickup.
  • Performs mowing and weed-eating.
  • Performs weed cutting and removal.
  • Tree cutting experience is a plus.
  • Drives company vehicles.
  • Uses all power tools safely.
  • Uses all equipment safely.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Mowing, weed-eating, tree removal experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
  • Ability to travel out of state.
  • Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
  • Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

Additional Information
COMPENSATION/ SCHEDULE:
  • Pay: $22-24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Temporary seasonal position - approximately 6-10 weeks.
