This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, supporting skilled tradespeople on diverse projects. Whether assisting with framing, trim work, or site preparation, you’ll be an essential part of creating safe, durable, and aesthetically pleasing environments. Responsibilities

  • Assist carpenters with framing, trim carpentry, and door hanging tasks to ensure project progress
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
  • Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
  • Support concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, drywall, and roofing supplies to facilitate smooth workflow
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist in accurate project execution
  • Help with installation of fixtures, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile laying, and other finishing touches
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and industry standards

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience, covering everything from framing to finish work.
  • Skills: Proficiency in drywall and drywall finishing.
