The LRH Laboratory Support Supervisor oversees pre-analytical operations within the clinical laboratory, including specimen collection, transport, andprocessing. This role ensures efficient workflow, staff coordination, and compliance with safety and quality standards

    • Supervise daily activities of support staff in phlebotomy, specimen management, courier services, and send-out testing
    • Coordinate staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and training programs
    • Monitor and improve workflow patterns to optimize turnaround times and reduce errors.
    • Ensure compliance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines
    • Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical assistance to staff
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve specimen-related concerns
    • Maintain inventory of supplies and oversee equipment maintenance
    • Participate in developing and implementing new procedures for specimen handling and transport.
    • Overseeing and optimizing total lab automation systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
    • Ensuring all maintenance records are reviewed and signed off to maintain compliance and operational efficiency
