What Does a Typical Day Look Like? Here are your primary responsibilities:
  • Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
  • Testing water to maintain chemical treatment.
  • Supporting the operations group.
  • Reviewing laboratory data.
  • Managing multiple tasks and working independently.
  • Fostering a safe work environment in compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, and site standards.

What is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):
  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation (e.g. GC, Elemental Analyzer, titrators, pH meters) and wet chemistry analyses.
  • Ability to calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of laboratory principles.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook specifically).
  • Self-motivated.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Experience reviewing, analyzing, and documenting lab data.
  • Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
