We're pleased to partner with our client on their search for a Calibration Laboratory Manager for their Milwaukee, WI, location

Your day to day:

  • This is a fulltime, on-site role for a Calibration Laboratory Manager based in Milwaukee, WI. You will oversee all daytoday laboratory operations. This includes overseeing Lab Operations: managing day-to-day calibration activities and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with the Quality System, ISO/IEC 17025, and other regulatory standards.
  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with customers and Sales to deliver tailored calibration solutions and address service issues with sustainable corrective actions.
  • Oversee Financials & Strategy: Manage lab budget and P contribute to strategic planning, equipment investment, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Lead Production Planning: Develop and execute schedules, allocate resources, and monitor throughput to meet turnaround time and production goals.

Key responsibilities include leading research and development initiatives, coordinating team activities, maintaining strict safety protocols, and driving continuous process improvements. The Laboratory Manager is also responsible for accurate data analysis and reporting to support organizational goals.

Position requirements'

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Metrology, or Business Management (or equivalent experience)
    • 5+ years of experience in a calibration lab, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
    • Experience with customer-facing roles and business planning, including P&L responsibility.
    • Demonstrated experience with production planning, lean manufacturing, and automation implementation.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

Salary DOE- $ 105,000- $125,000 plus bonus
