ADay in theLife

As a Courier in our Durham, NC lab,you'llbe responsible for picking up samples from customers and often collect water or soil samples. They may also deliver sampling supplies and perform other tasks in support of meeting the expectations of our clients.

The compensation range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00, commensuratewith experience, skills, and geographic location.

Schedule: Monday - Friday with possible overtime.

To thrive in this role,you'llbe comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Driving the company vehicle to client locations, delivering supplies to those locations, and returning samples to the laboratory.
  • Providing courteous, respectful, responsive, and excellent client service to internal and external clients.
  • Maintaining the company vehicle in optimal driving condition.
  • Maintaining a clean vehicle, both inside and outside.
  • Ability to communication well with the operations manager, project managers, courier scheduler.
  • Staying overnight when going on multiple day courier routes, up to a week at the time.

  • Drivers must inform their supervisor within 3 days if they are ticketed or arrested for driving related offences outside of work, and immediately if the event happens on the job.
