Postdoctoral Research Associate โ€“ Organic Synthesis & Chemistry Automation

Position Overview

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work at the forefront of organic synthesis and chemistry automation . The successful candidate will contribute to research aimed at developing new synthetic methods and applying them in automated and high-throughput experimentation, including work toward autonomous platforms for discovering novel therapeutic agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute research in advanced organic synthesis under the direction of the principal investigator.
  • Apply and refine synthetic methods in both conventional laboratory settings and automated/high-throughput experimental platforms.
  • Analyze complex organic molecules using instrumental techniques and support data interpretation.
  • Independently manage day-to-day research activities and propose innovative solutions to scientific problems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including artificial intelligence and biology research groups.
