Summary:
The Laboratory Quality Tech role is responsible for developing, monitoring and providing recommendations for overall quality in the laboratory. This role provides oversight and management of competency assessment for team members.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Associates Degree required for Medical Laboratory Technicians; Bachelor's Degree required for Medical Technologists.
  2. License/Certifications: Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist by a recognized professional organization (e.g., ASCP, BOR, NCA) required.
  3. Experience: Two years of relevant laboratory experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
