Location: La Jolla, CA

Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Duration: 2 Year+ (Possible Extension)


Summary:ย 

My Client is seeking a student assistant for Oncology Research Unit to join their Immuno-Pharmacology drug discovery team.ย 


Requirementsย 

The candidate will be involved in the performance of routine in vitro assays (ELISAs, Westerns, etc...), cell based-assays, flow cytometry, as well as supporting in vivo studies under direction and supervision of a scientist.ย 

In addition he/she will be making buffers, reagent solutions, conducting cell/tissue culture, checking inventory and ordering lab supplies.


Qualifications

Qualification &Experience

The candidate should be at least 2 years away from graduation and have at least one year experience in biology- or immunology-related field.

The candidate must have strong research ethic, be self-motivated and goal oriented.ย 

Good communication and organizational skills are essential.ย 

Previous laboratory experience and basic knowledge of laboratory work such as pipetting and ability to calculate and make dilutions are desired.
