Job Description

We are currently seeking a General Labourer to join our team in Montreal-East.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow in a dynamic environment within our recycling yard. The successful candidate will actively participate in the receiving, sorting, classification, and shipping of metals, while contributing to the smooth daily operations of the site.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fieldwork, varied tasks, and teamwork. We are looking for a reliable, proactive individual who is comfortable working in an industrial environment where health and safety are a top priority.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Sorting and inspecting metals based on their characteristics;
  • Identifying different types of metals and assessing their quality;
  • Weighing materials and preparing receiving and shipping tickets;
  • Loading, moving, and organizing materials;
  • Using various tools and equipment;
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with health and safety standards;
  • Performing any other related tasks to support daily operations.
Qualifications
