Job description

We are currently seeking a hardworking and safety-focused Pipeline Laborer to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems by performing a variety of field tasks in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. As a Pipeline Laborer, you will assist with activities such as excavation, trenching, pipe alignment, material handling, and site preparation while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Excavation and Preparation: Dig trenches and ditches to lay pipelines, ensuring proper depth and alignment according to specifications. Clean and prepare job sites for construction activities.
  • Pipe Installation: Align and position pipes for welding or sealing, ensuring secure connections. Apply protective coatings to pipelines to prevent corrosion.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance and repair work on existing pipelines, including replacing sections of pipe and sealing leaks. Conduct pressure testing to ensure the integrity of the pipeline system.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various machinery and equipment, such as backhoes and excavators, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and participate in safety training to maintain a safe working environment. Install pipeline markers and warning signs to ensure public safety.
  • Environmental Restoration: Assist in restoring the environment post-construction, including replanting vegetation and restoring habitats

Requirements
  • High school diploma/ bachelor's or similar field Experience.
  • Hands-on experience in construction or pipeline work is preferred. Familiarity with heavy machinery operation and physical labor-intensive roles is advantageous.
  • OSHA Safety Training and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be beneficial for certain tasks or advancement opportunities.
