Description
The Food and Beverage Admin will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. This position will handle various administrative tasks to support our Food and Beverage team.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the follow up process with new hires regarding initial training, onboarding, uniform, proper certification, and training completion documentation
  • Ensure employees are assigned to proper divisions in Time and Labor
  • Assist in the Invoice process; scanning, filing, and ensuring the audit document is updated
  • Answer or place phone calls, deliver messages, send, and respond to emails on behalf of the F&B department
  • Monitor incoming cabana emails, texts, phone calls and answer or forward as required
  • Assist with corrective action forms: keeping up with point system, generating forms and delivering to HR
  • Maintain office supply inventories in office and park locations and restock as needed
  • Keep food location binders stocked with stand specific documents
  • Update and maintain databases such as master staff list, certification, contact lists, and team member information
  • Terminate employees out of Time and Labor as needed throughout the season
  • Generating schedule templates and support F&B district coordinators in overseeing scheduling and timekeeping as needed
  • Upload waste log and inventory data into a spreadsheet
  • Monitor and use office equipment and materials (computers, printers, copiers, physical files, etc.)
  • Report any problems with office equipment; help resolve the issues if possible
  • Help leadership to immediately resolve and mediate team member complaints
  • Greet team members/vendors and direct them to the correct leadership
  • Assist in a Food and Beverage outlet as needed and use the Point-of-Sale system

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's permit and TABC Certificate. If you do not have a Typhoon Texas approved and current Food Handler's Permit and/or TABC Certification, you will be required to obtain one at your expense
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word and Excel
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, associate's degree preferred
  • Able to work 40 hours per week
  • Must be open and willing to learn new things
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and a team player
  • Understands and supports the Typhoon Texas Culture
  • Uses excellent judgment and maintains confidentiality
  • Identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions
  • Works effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner
  • Has excellent communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language
  • Must be willing to complete all tasks given by Typhoon Texas management
  • May be required to stand for prolonged periods
  • May be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, wind, or rain
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
