IBG Operator
Location: Bremen, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Training conducted on 1st Shift before transitioning to 2nd Shift)
Pay: $18.00 per hour during 1st Shift training, increasing to $19.00 per hour upon successful completion of training and transition to 2nd Shift.

Job Summary

Are you a quality-focused individual with a keen eye for detail? We're seeking an IBG Operator to join our team in Bremen, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our quality assurance process, ensuring finished components meet customer specifications through precision inspection, quality documentation, and packaging. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

What You'll Be Doing
As an IBG Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
-Operating inspection equipment: Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor IBG and other inspection equipment to verify finished parts meet customer and company quality standards.
-Performing quality inspections: Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements on pinions, axles, roller products, and other precision components while documenting inspection results and reporting non-conforming parts.
-Packaging and material handling: Package finished products, assign lot numbers and shipping labels, complete required paperwork, and safely transport finished goods using a forklift.
-In addition, you will also be expected to complete production records and quality reports, load parts using barrel dumpers or by hand, move materials between workstations, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment preferred
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and push carts weighing up to 500 lbs
Skills:
-Quality Inspection: Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections while identifying non-conforming parts.
-Mechanical & Technical Aptitude: Comfortable operating inspection equipment and learning new quality systems and processes.
-Organization & Documentation: Ability to accurately complete production tickets, quality reports, labels, and other required documentation.
