Job description

We are seeking a Dental Assistant  who is willing to make a difference in the growth of our office. Our office has shown a consistent and rapid growth in General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Implants. We use the newest technology and also make our own crowns and bridges. Our goal is to build a strong relationship with employees and patients based on dedication and loyalty. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Understands and works to ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC regulations.
  • Maintains supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Sterilizes , label, and record instruments for dental procedures.
  • Maintains infection control areas and reports to ensure control standards are met.
  • Clean and prepare rooms for dental procedures
  • Instruct patients and keep workflow efficiently. Help patients as requested by dentist and administration.
  • Input patient's clinical data on dental software on a professional level, making sure HIPAA regulations are followed 
  • Assists dentists and hygienists in procedures, projects, and campaigns
  • Assists other areas with special projects
​​​​Qualifications:

  • Must speak Portuguese AND English
  • Certification in Dental Assisting is not required but will be considered a plus.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to spend prolonged hours standing to perform duties, and to be exposed to the chemicals and materials necessary to the sterilization, cleaning process, and dental procedures.
  • On-the-job training period and salary will vary depending on candidate experience and performance.
