Job description

WORK 4 10 HOUR DAYS!


POSITION DESCRIPTION:                   

Provide quality service in label manufacturing by producing CompuColor labels, working closely with the production manager, label designer, customer service, and technical specialist.

Be proficient in TAB’s CompuColor coding label technology and systems.

Operate and maintain all pieces of equipment in the label production process:   the laminator, scorer/slitter, shear, and the digital printers.

Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot all pieces of equipment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experienced PC knowledge and the ability to work with Windows 10 or higher are required.   Strong mechanical ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment is preferred.

 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.   The employee frequently is required to walk, and is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

 

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.   Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

                Employee usually works near moving mechanical parts.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with an ever-changing number of variables relating to the types of labels being produced.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
