Job description

The Flexo Press Operator will setup and operate the Flexo printing press following CCL's Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) to provide product that is within established guidelines regarding feet per run hour, waste
standards and quality values. This position also preps jobs and prepares inks and routine preventive
maintenance on the equipment, as needed.
POSITION MAIN DUTIES
1. Proficient in press setup, operation and changeover.
2. Checking copy to assure that copy is correct and running efficiently.
3. Monitor and make adjustments to product, as needed.
4. Accurately complete paperwork utilizing cGMP requirements.
5. Perform equipment maintenance on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule and as required.
6. Produce consistent high quality work.
7. Use 5S principles in and around work area.
8. Keep press clean. All ink must be cleaned up immediately. The press must stay in exceptional
condition at all times.
9. Participate in team collaboration.
10. Other duties as needed as a result of equipment upgrades and business needs.
11. Preps orders and prepares inks, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS

PAST EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
6 months - 2 years recent experience in operating a Flexo press in a manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION
High School diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent with 3 - 5 years relevant experience.
