The Label Preparation Associate will be responsible for performing label printing activities for final packaging of finished products. This position will also support warehouse activities related to finished products and ensure the solid execution of company programs remain consistent with the overall company values. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the manufacturing process and can support the strategic and operational objectives of the business. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.
- Perform label printing for final packaging following schedule and complete all related documentation.
- Perform printing of preprinted Tyvek lids for certain products
- Assists with existing product label support as required
- Requisition and store of label printing supplies.
- Adheres to daily schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals.
- Assist in assuring a safe working environment
- Adhere to standard operating procedure and department operating procedures
- Keep work area organized and free of clutter and debris
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Assist with various special ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have management responsibilities
Education, Experience and Certification:- This position requires a minimum of an Associate's degree or 3 years of experience on similar position. Knowledge of cGMP is desirable.
- Experience in a medical device or science related field is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience with label design software applications and Microsoft Office applications (MS Word and
MS Excel).
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work stand up for extended periods of time.

Salary Range: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
