The Opportunity:
Operate offset and direct image printing equipment to support high-quality, efficient production. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining printing machinery while ensuring adherence to specifications, safety standards, and production goals. A typical day includes reviewing job specifications, preparing equipment, monitoring print quality, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with maintenance and other departments to ensure continuous workflow and operational excellence.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
* Set up, adjust, and operate offset and direct image printing equipment to meet production and quality standards.
* Operate auxiliary equipment such as cutters and plate-making systems.
* Review and follow job specifications and production documentation to ensure accuracy.
* Monitor equipment performance and identify, troubleshoot, and correct malfunctions.
* Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
* Notify leadership of required repairs or replacement parts.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe working condition.

Shifts: They are three days/nights a week and are 12 hour shifts.
The starting rate is $20 per hour, depending on your role, level, experience, and location.
