Job Summary:

Level I Press Operators are responsible for assisting Level II, III & IV Press Operators with the production of a quality product, increasing efficiency during set-up and change-over.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle the delivery and return of dies, print cylinders & inks.

  • Mount plates for flexographic presses, staging two or more jobs in advance.

  • Mix inks needed for upcoming jobs.

  • Complete press double-checks as needed.

  • Keep presses running during breaks.

  • Be agile, moving to where the work is if necessary and as directed by the Production Supervisor.

  • Keep production area clean, neat, and organized.

  • Work with pre-production individuals as a team, and with respect.

  • Effectively and efficiently manage time.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required

  • Press Operators must be able to pass a test for color vision deficiency.

  • Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
