Job description

Cannabis Packaging Specialist - Full-Time, Day Shift
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:15 a.m.-5:45 p.m.
Status: Full-Time | Four-Day Workweek
Are you interested in a fulfilling career in Oregon's cannabis industry? White Label Extracts is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Cannabis Packaging Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on production work and can maintain accuracy while completing repetitive tasks.
About Us
White Label Extracts is a locally owned and operated cannabis company with more than 12 years in the industry. We build long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships with farmers who share our standards for quality, transparency, safety, and ethical production.
Our goal is to provide high-quality, high-purity, pesticide-free cannabis extracts at a competitive price.
Position Overview
The Packaging Specialist accurately weighs, fills, labels, and packages cannabis extracts for distribution. Since this position handles regulated cannabis products, attention to detail is essential. Products must be packaged and labeled correctly according to company procedures and Oregon cannabis regulations.
This role also requires maintaining a consistently clean and sanitary workspace. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable performing repetitive work, and able to maintain both speed and quality throughout a 10-hour shift.
What You'll Do
  • Weigh and package cannabis extracts into the correct containers.
  • Apply product and compliance labels accurately.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
  • Record production, packaging, and inventory information.
  • Prepare finished products for delivery and distribution.
  • Load and unload supplies from machines, carts, and dollies.
  • Keep packaging and production areas clean and sanitized.
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, and cannabis regulations.
  • Communicate production needs or concerns to supervisors and coworkers.
  • Assist with other packaging and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a current OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit. Previous experience in cannabis packaging, production, manufacturing, fulfillment, food production, or a similar detail-oriented environment is preferred.
Candidates must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires following detailed instructions, adapting to changes, communicating effectively, and meeting production goals without sacrificing quality. Applicants must also pass required pre-employment screenings and remain compliant with all legal and company requirements.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position is performed in a lab-style workspace maintained at approximately 61-63 degrees. Employees must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures, remaining seated for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks throughout a 10-hour shift.
Close visual focus and repetitive use of the hands, fingers, and arms are required when handling small containers, products, and labels. White Label Extracts provides a company smock. Hair must be tied back or covered with an approved hat, and employees with facial hair must wear a beard net.
If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to join an established Oregon cannabis company, we encourage you to apply.
