Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their SpecimenProcessing andAccessioning team in Dallas, TX.

Work Schedule:3rd Shift.Monday- Friday 9:00 pm - 5:30 am required overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

  • Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas

  • Accurately identify and label specimens

  • Pack and ship specimens toproper testing facilities

  • Meet department activity andproduction goals

  • Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples

  • Data entry of patient information in anaccurate and timely manner

  • Resolve and document anyproblem specimens

Minimum Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

PreferredQualification:

  • Current or prior Labcorp experience

  • 1 yearor more ofexperiencein alab or specimenprocessing

  • 1 yearor more ofexperiencein amedical/clinical laboratoryexperience

  • 1 yearor more ofexperiencein the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office,clinicor hospital

  • 1 yearof experience in an assembly or manufacturingproduction environment

Additional Job Standards:

  • Comfortable handling biological specimens

  • Ability toaccurately identify specimens

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Strong data entry and organizational skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
